Rated 5 out of 5 by from Air Hogs Most Fun The Robo Trax is the best toy out of the Air Hogs long line of fine toys. It is really hard to find a toys for kids 10 and up, but this is ideal. It's a new idea in the world of R/C. My son was so impressed by speed and spinning, but we were both excited about playing with it outside too! Just enough lights to be cool, and transforming with imposing size. The only negative is that it includes 2 bullets, that are likely to lost easily. The battery life survived 3 kids taking turns. Our family we still be playing with in days to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hours of playtime fun I think Air Hogs Robotrax is loads of family fun. Not only did my boys have fun playing with it but so did my husband. They took it indoors and out. It loads of fun driving over any terrain . Its very sturdy and won't break the kids loved it . It is easy to set up but remember to buy 3 AAA batteries to play it . Its much better on any surface but rugs it didn't do to well on them but otherwise its a great toy . The battery life is pretty long and the kids will love playing with it (including the big kids)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Robo Trax, an intertaining toy Robo Trax is a robust, strongly built toy which is operated by remote control. It requires 2 AAA batteries for the control, and the robot itself has a USB charger. The robot runs, spins, transforms into an android to walk tall, and shoots small projectiles. While in the tank mode, the lights are red; in the robot mode, the lights become blue. I tested on different surfaces, such as wood floor, carpet, rocks and even grass, and it showed great traction. The robot's battery last up to 10 to 15 minutes before it needs to be plugged in again to recharge. Robot Trax in my opinion is a great option for girls and boys 10 years and older. I also think that due to the small projectiles and the high speed that it runs in the tank mode, it may hurt younger kids. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic!!! My boys loved this off road RC car. It has great quality shocks, so even if jumps from a small height it won't get damaged. The speed is just awesome. The battery life is impressively long with this high speed. The controller design is easy to handle and control the car. The overall build quality is great with strong material. The boys are really in love with the Airhogs Robo Traxs and have been playing with this all day and thoroughly enjoying it! I would highly recommend buying this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great toy for inside and outside! My son just loves the Air Hogs R/C toy. The instructions to set the toy up were easy to follow. The remote control is easy to handle. It comes with missiles you can fire and that is what my son really loves about this toy. The missiles shoot pretty far. The toy can only hold two of them while playing. My son loves that it transforms from a small motor vehicle to a standing robot. It is great that the toy can be charged with a USB cable which is included in the box. The battery charges really fast but the toy needs to be charged every time my son has played with it. Other than the charging issue my son really likes this toy. It works great on carpet, grass, tiles and pavement. The tires are very sturdy and they stand up very well on rougher surfaces. Really a fun toy for my son to keep him entertained for a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME TOY FOR KIDS!!! Awesome "transformer" type robot/tank toy that REALLY works. My two sons, ages 9 and 12, absolutely love this toy. I was a little skeptical about it working because whenever a toy says it transforms on it's own we have been sorely disappointed. Well, this robot transforms easily and stays up and running. My husband and I were as impressed as my boys were. It's fun, it's cool and it's very well made. This is a great toy and I'm sure your kids would love it too!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fun toy for all ages! This AirHogs transforming robot/car toy was a BIG hit with my sons. They are 7 years apart so I loved that this toy appealed to them both- my youngest (4) put the missiles in the vehicle while my oldest (11) used the remote control to cruise the car around. They were totally enthralled when the car became a robot with launching missiles! This is a super fun new vehicle by AirHogs that will definitely be going on the gift list for upcoming birthdays and holidays!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from RoboTrax AirHogs are AWESOME I thought this was just going to be yet another remote control thingamabob that just makes noise and bangs up my walls. But this thing is cool -- it climbs over obstacles, and isn't nearly as loud as the other robots we have. It's pretty mesmerizing, even for adults. The little missiles get easily lost (my one complaint), but it's a fun feature that sets it apart from other toys of its kind. Definitely a great gift!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome toy! The Airhogs Robo Trax is keeping my kids busy after a recent hurricane. It goes fast and seems to have a lot of power. The remote takes batteries, but the actual vehicle is rechargeable!! That definitely earns it an extra star. They love that it is both a car and a robot and that it shoots missles. I only wish that I had 2, so the kids wouldn't fight over it. Truth be told...I had fun with it, as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Air Hogs Robo Trax My son was so excited when he opened Air Hogs Robo Trax. He has been playing with it non stop! It is very easy to use. He has played with it inside and outside. I highly recommend this for any kid that loves robots, remote control vehicles or anything tech related. The ease it transforms from vehicle to standing robot is amazing. My son loves to make it spin when it is in vehicle mode.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome fun for the entire family This is an awesome toy that the entire family will enjoy. My son and daughter did not stop playing with this all weekend. My husband enjoyed this as much as the kids and I often had to remind him to hand the remote back to our kids. It is really amazing that the car can stand vertical. I love that it does not require batteries and can be charged using a USB cord - very convenient.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great all-around fun!! I love how there are so many different aspects to this toy which doesn't limit how they play or where they playing! This toy can handle all types of surfaces weather indoor or outdoor and in addition to that it has so many transformations that it makes it such a versatile toy. Even though this toy is for kids I have to tell you that I really enjoyed playing it with it myself!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome awesome awesome Battery life is way too short at about 20 minutes. That said...this is such a fun toy. My boys were so excited to try it out. My older girls wanted to try it out too. They drive it around, try to get it to do tricks and fire the darts at targets and my youngest (6) squeals when it comes near him. We love that it stands and that the treads can be reversed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Impressive Tank Bot! Air Hogs Robo Trax really does stand up to rough wear and tear and can handle many types of terrain. My two boys, ages 8 and 12, had a blast playing with this toy. The remote is easy to use, making the switch from battle tank to robot a breeze. My boys thought the missiles were fun to shoot as well. The missiles shoot pretty far, which is great but not so great when the kiddos lose track of them! While in tank mode, it can easily plow through any terrain, smooth or rough. I was concerned it wouldn't hold up as well in robot mode since it looked wobbly and imbalanced. However, I was quite wrong! The robot does an impressive job self balancing. My boys used it with no problem on smooth floors, carpet, concrete, grass, and bumpy asphalt. While in robot mode, it did fall down once but, in the toy's defense, it was traveling downhill on bumpy asphalt. I may just have to get one more so my boys can battle them together!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The funnest toy! I think this is AMAZING!!!! My kids won't stop plying with it! It has very smooth transition from tank-to robot-to-tank. The movements aren't jerky or strained. Additionally, the rockets fire really well. It has no problem going over thick carpet, dirt, inclines, etc. The tread did build up a little bit with dirt but was easy to remove, and the stable/ balance while in robot mode is perfect. It only had problems with pine-needles and small sticks. The main complaint was the length of time the kids could play with it (they got about 10-15 minutes after charging for and hour or so). BUT it does charge really fast (which is good for impatient kids who want to play). My kids have been non-stop (besides charging) and have gotten the neighbors kids "jealous" (I'm sure I'll get some sarcastic thanks from other parents now being hounded to buy them). I would have given 5 stars because it works so good, but alas, the battery time is an issue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from IT'S A WINNER This is our first of the Air Hogs R/C toys and my kids are thoroughly enjoying the toy. First, the packaging was nice and safe but didn't require surgeon's tools to get the toy out. That's a plus from me because that's always the dreaded part of a new toy. The instructions were simple and easily understood. The R/C has just enough buttons to provide control but not too much to be confusing. It comes with 6 missles to fire. They seem to shoot pretty far. We're a little disappointed that there's nowhere to store the other 4 while the toy holds two for shooting. The kids like the way it transforms from a small motor vehicle to a standing robot. There are a few lights but not overly so. We charge it via a usb cable provided. I do think the charge depletes pretty quickly with just normal use. This toy is great on carpet, wood flooring, tile, and outdoors. My 6, 8, and 12 year old children have all played with it and like it a lot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really cool toy! This toy is amazing. We were really impressed with the self-balancing feature! It's really neat! It doesn't take long to charge. Each charge doesn't last as long as we would like - it would be better if it had a stronger battery. The remote has very good handling of the toy and the toy and remote never had problems communicating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Air Hogs Robotrax...hours of fun My four kiddos all love the Robotrax. They love how it can transform to a standing robot, or can be a vehicle to drive. The love shooting the missiles at things too. This toy is constantly in use in our house. They watch it while it charges waiting to use it again! A huge hit for a wide variety of ages!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Super fun toy! My kids really enjoyed playing with this fun toy! Pros: - My kids loved changing toy into the different modes - My kids liked that it was fast. Initially was difficult to control the toy speed via remote control but as they played with it more, it was easier to control the speed. - Light and easy to carry the toy - Attractive look - Seems like a durable construction as my kids were playing with the toy. I hope this toy lasts a long while. Cons: - Short battery life approximately 15minutes. It should be 30-45minutes for longer play time - Small red arrows could potentially be easy to lose if you don't be careful and keep track of where they landed after shooting from the toy. Should be bigger arrows so that they are easier to find and put in the toy. My other concerns would be to make sure young kids 3 and under do not be near the red arrows as they could be a potential choking hazard. Overall, a fun and speedy toy for my kids. Wished the charged battery life was longer!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent toy! My 9yo loves this! He was so excited to see it, and the toy did not disappoint. Once charged, it is super responsive and went over our hard wood floors and area rugs no problem. Even in robot mode, it went from wood to area run over the transition no problem. I am really impressed with how it balances in robot mode! Even my 11yo daughter kept wanting to play with it. The transition from tank to robot is really cool and lots of fun. He shows all his friends that come over and they all want a turn. It's super easy to charge (microUSB port) and I love that the controller doesn't have an external antennae (they always get broken or bent, etc). Super easy to use and set up. The ONLY minor complaint is that it looses charge very quickly. He charges it all day overnight and while he's in school, and when he gets home he can only use it for about 15 minutes before it needs to be charged again. He gets pretty disappointed, but is happy to plug it back in for later. It really is a great toy and I'm really happy to have it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A fun toy but a short battery life My 8 year old son loves the Robo Trax especially when it transforms.! The only issue we have seen is that the battery lasts about 15 minutes. This was a huge deterrent for a kid. When it is in use, the remote control works great!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kids loving the Air Hogs Robotrax I think the Air Hogs Robotrax is super cool. My kids love it and can't stop playing with it. I cannot tell you how many times they have play it to the point where the Robotrax runs out of battery. Great fun for all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Durable toy, but short-lived battery I think that Air Hogs Robo Trax is a very durable remote control vehicle. It goes over the obstacles my family creates for it. It transforms easily and the missiles (while superfluous) are fun to shoot. We've used it indoors and outdoors and it handles grass as well as solid surfaces. Our Air Hogs Robo Trax can travel on carpet as long as it is fully charged. When its charge wanes, it has a hard time traveling on the carpet. Speaking of battery charge, the only reason I give Air Hogs Robo Trax only 3 stars is because of the battery charge. Ours doesn't last long even when we leave it charging for hours. We really like that it has a rechargeable battery, but when recharged the charge only lasts 10-15 minutes before the Air Hogs Robo Trax's battery is completely dead and needs to be plugged back in to charge. My family would gladly play longer with the Air Hogs Robo Trax, but cannot due to battery charge length. I'd hesitate to recommend to a friend (which is a shame because a national retailer has one version of an Air Hogs toy on special this month) without fully explaining that the battery doesn't last as long as we would like and, thus, has to be frequently charged. We will keep having fun with our Air Hogs Robo Trax, but it will be in short bursts due to short battery life.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from awesome toy This toy is a hit in my house. With two boys that love remote control toys, this was so exciting for them to have. They have been trying it in the house as well as outside of the house. My one son tried it in the rocks outside and said it worked great, but it did come in a little scratched up. Typical with boy play. It is fast, and works very well. It moves up and down, and almost turns into a robot looking man. The kids liked that part. He stands up tall. Then it turns into a car like machine. It has cool lights and features. The tires on it are very study and allow it to move in very rocky and weird terrain. The instructions were easy for us to read and interpret. My boys were able to read them for the most part themselves and figured out to use it pretty fast. The build of the machine is good, it is sturdy and held up to hard boy play. It did scratch when out in the rocks, but that would be typical for this type of toy. It did not break or crack. The boys loved it and have been playing with it frequently. I think it has a lot of fun capabilities and love that it can be used both inside and outside. The battery charges quite quickly, but it also drains pretty fast, that is the one downfall of the toy. You don't get much time out of it before it needs charged. Definitely worth the purchase and the kids love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AIR HOGS ROBO TRAX Both my children (daughter 8 and son 11) were super excited to play with the Air Hogs Robo Trax All-Terrain Transforming Battle Bot. When we opened the box, we easily removed the Robo Trax out of the packaging, plugged it in for charging, and placed 3 AAA batteries in the control. After 90 minutes of charging, my kids were able to get their hands on this exciting new toy. Both children were able to easily manipulate the controls to not only move the Robo Trax, but to also quickly and efficiently transform it from vehicle to robot. We were all pretty amazed how well balanced the robot stayed upright and moved. My son thought that it moved pretty quickly and liked how he could drive it in small places and over the carpets. My daughter enjoyed driving the Robo Trax on different terrains like mulch, leaves, grass, and concrete. My son loved shooting the missiles, but did note that sometimes the launchers are slightly askew so they both don't fire in the same direction. (I am happy that 6 missiles were included....just in case). But all in all, this is a great remote control vehicle/bot. We think that the transformation to robot with impressive balance and movement really make this Air Hogs toy unique. The kids have really been enjoying playing with Robo Trax and wished that the charge stayed longer because they are having a hard time sharing it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A cool morphing battle tank This is a great projectile-throwing robot, with the added bonus of an impressive balancing act. We unboxed the Airhogs Robo Trax and popped three AAA batteries into the remote. The robot itself had enough charge that we were able to play with most of its features right out of the box. It drove around, spun in tight turns, and threw the six missiles quite far. My eight-year-old had a great time chasing his older brother around the living room. The smaller-sized remote was a good fit for his hands. But the real fun began after we allowed the Robo Trax to charge for a while. It came with a charging cable, but we found that it was a typical micro USB, so we had a charging area already setup for other devices. We came back to the tank about 90 minutes later. With a full charge, we were able to make it stand up and careen around the room high on two legs. Even my husband and nineteen-year-old were impressed by its ability to balance upright on two treads. They took turns nudging it, but the robot adjusted and stayed upright. I’ve never seen a remote controlled toy morph to a standing position, it was really neat. The entire family played with the Robo Trax, and it worked well on wood floor, as well as carpet. If there was any improvement to be made to the tank, it would only be that the missiles are small and could be easily lost. But it came with six, so we had plenty to spare. Fast and fun!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kids loved it! Air Hogs Robotrax is a really fun toy. My grandsons ages 9 and 5 tried it out. It is a vehicle that transforms by pushing a button on the remote. It turns into a robot whose arms shoot little missles. It just stops and flips around and stands up as a robot. The kids found this incredibly awesome. It was easy for the kids to control once I showed them how to use it. In vehicle mode, it goes over all types of terrain, my driveway, gravel, the grass, rugs, etc. In robot form it is still fairly stable but best to transform it on flatter ground The missiles are small and shoot pretty far. It is best used without missiles if you have smaller kids or pets that might try to chew on them or accidentally swallow. It charges via a usb cable that can plug into your computer. I didn't look at the directions to find the charging port and so it was difficult until I checked the instructions. It is on the side of the vehicle and so is the on/off switch. It charged in about 45 min, and the remote needs batteries which are not included. The reason for my 4 star rating is because the charge lasted less than 15 minutes. So the kids were having a lot of fun driving it and then it died and had to be recharged. I find this is fairly common with RC toys, but I wish we could have gotten more play time out of it. Overall, it is a great toy that captured the kids attention and kept them happy and enjoying themselves outside.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Surprisingly sturdy! Great fun! We were pleasantly surprised by the sturdiness and power of this remote controlled vehicle! I had not bought any Air Hog products in long time because of the poor design of remote control vehicles that my older son had (at least 7 years ago). Back then, they broke after a couple uses. AIR Hogs has really upped their game - and quality- since then. My 10 yo son has been playing with the Robo Trax for a few weeks now. I purposely waited to see if/how quickly it would break. He's actively played with it about 20 times now and it's still going great! He really likes that it truly will traverse all sorts of different terrain. Indoors, it has serious power! The kids tease/ play with our puppy with the Robo. It's tough - she can only get it about half the time! Outside they've had fun making challenges for it to conquer. It can rid up angles bark, take falls from kid-knee height and keep going, quickly get over bumpy mud and small puddles. The only two negatives with this you are really not that important or bad at all! One: the remote drains batteries pretty fast. But honestly, wouldn't you expect that from a remote control? Two: it doesn't stand up as much as we were expecting it to. But it still shoots and the aim is true, and my son is less interested in the Robot aspect anyway. Overall, great toy! The price still seems quite steep to me though. I recommend finding it on sale - then it would be a super choice!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good and bad When it first arrived, the set-up was easy. We could not figure out how much time was needed for the first charge. The directions were difficult as there were no words. Once charged, my 9 year old son was very excited to try it out. However, the charge is only for about 20 minutes. As he was was the primary user of the Air Hogs Remote Trax, I asked for his opinion directly. He enjoyed playing with it. The beeping was confusing. Is that means it's dying and needs a charge? or were we doing something beyond its capabilities? The was not clear in the directions. Beeping was not mentioned. Suggestions from my son: When it's in robot mode, stop moving around. Maybe have more possible movements when in robot mode. it does not go fast and isn't very exciting. include a second set of treads in case something happens to the original set. Be able to climb better. it could not climb up the curb from the street. When you change to robot mode, the head scrapes the ground and whacks into the ground as it moves. one of the shooters droops. difficult to understand how to put it in robot mode. Good things: when going straight, it moves fast. and has great control. he likes how the shooters go up to shoot. has great turns - loves how it goes in donuts. he let his 5 year old female cousin play with it and she enjoyed it - was fairly easy to use and control. it does not seem gender specific. Overall, we would recommend it and are still having fun playing with it.
